About

I’m a twenty-something student nurse and wannabe theologian living in Southern California. I’m a fan of thick books, coffee, and the occasional inappropriate joke. I’m learning to love and be loved by Jesus of Nazareth, this wandering preacher-man who won my heart through the power of story. My vision for this blog is a place where I can share a little bit of my heart, and have a conversation with you over an imaginary cup of coffee.

Later Days,

Jess

(P.S. you have my friendship forever if you can tell me where my parting tagline came from)

  1. Dear Jess,
My name is Rachel Asproth. I am an editor for the e-journal and blog at Christians for Biblical Equality. I really enjoy your “Faith Feminisms” article. I would be thrilled to feature your work. Would you be interested in writing an article? Please, let me know if you’d be interested in partnering with us in this capacity. I hope very much to be able to work with you. Thanks so much and have a wonderful day.

    Blessings,
    Rachel Asproth
